About

Hi! I’m Jennifer. I’m an interdisciplinary artist, avid walker, and nature lover. I love beautiful ordinary things: wild strawberries growing along a path; meeting a friendly cat on the street; traffic stopping for crossing geese.

What I make is continually inspired by wonder and gratitude for the natural world and passion for community wellbeing for all. My way of making is rooted in the practice of paying attention, being amazed, and then responding with art that deepens my (and, I hope in some small way, others’) connection with life and community around things that feel important. For me, art lives at the intersection of depth and delight, where thoughtful ideas and playful moments brighten one another.

I live in Raleigh, North Carolina where I enjoy wandering the parks, marveling over plants, and getting together with the people (and pets) I love.
